Paige Hardy has always looked for ways to reduce her carbon footprint. Knowing that when clothing isn't recycled or donated it goes straight into landfills was reason enough to create Clothesline Consignment, Cloverdale's stylish boutique with pre-loved designer and superior label fashions.
"I liked the idea of looking after the environment," says Paige. "I'm also a mom who wanted to stay up-to-date on styles and trends and couldn't justify spending so much money on clothes when my kids were in need of things."
Opened in September 2004, Clothesline Consignment is a savvy alternative to finding your favourite brands without the couture costs. "This was a way for me to still feel good about who I was and afford to have the quality labels without taking anything away from my family."
