Wild Rice Restaurant welcomes you to their establishment. You can also enjoy the sunshine on their terrace. They are open late from Tuesday to Sunday. You can get there by car. They are positioned in a location filled with parks.
In a manner, Wild Rice’s inception began in owner Andrew Wong's childhood kitchen. Andrew used to watch his Chinese grandmother prepare the family’s meals from an early age. It was in the garden of that same home where Andrew's grandmother taught him to grow his own fruits and vegetables.
The concept for Wild Rice truly started taking shape when Andrew was a young adult. He and his then roommate would have late-night, scotch-fueled discussions about opening their own Chinese restaurant, an alternative to the casual Chinese eateries that were the standard in Vancouver at the time.
First time there, I was disappointed. Food for the prices they ask was nothing to write home about Very uncomfortable chairs, switched one and same problem. One unisex washroom where very loud music plays, why?
