Olivier Farley, one of the founders of Bar Waverly, is not new to managing a bar. Yet it's not without emotion that he speaks of his attachment to the Waverly. In addition to being a neighbourhood bar, it's a family project. In fact, the founding team consists of Olivier, his brother, and a friend he's known for 25 years. With just a glimpse through the doors, it's clear that this family spirit gives the bar its life.
The entire team, composed of about thirty people, is warm and has a real down-to-earth character. For Olivier, the energy that emanates from a person is what matters most; that's why he's careful to ensure that the team members "work" with the spirit of the bar. It's a winning formula: the warm and welcoming Waverly team is clearly behind the bar's success.
No too sure if its a bar, a pub, or a night club, but the ambiance is defnitely groovy and relaxed. No dancefloor, yet the DJ was playing a great variety of styles, and the crowd was getting into it.
